The death has taken place of John McGough, August 17 2025, Peacefully at Strathcarron Hospice, aged 83, beloved husband of the late Daphne, loving father of Darren and Janelle, special father-in-law of Suzie and Stuart, much loved grandad of Amy, Alex, Lewis and Carson, special uncle to Yvonne.

Funeral will take on Sunday, August 24 from his son Darren’s home, 7 Rossdale, Kilfennan at 1.30pm followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to Strathcarron Hospice, c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT473QQ. Everyone is welcome to call at Darren’s home on Friday and Saturday from 11.00am until 9.00pm.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all the staff at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Camelon Medical Practice and latterly to all the wonderful staff at Strathcarron Hospice for the excellent care and support in dad’s final months. Treasured memories are for today, tomorrow and forever.
