The death has occurred of the late William John (Ian) McGregor, February 18 2026, Peacefully at Foyle Hospice (surrounded by his loving family in his 83rd year formerly of 6A, Duncastle Park, Newbuildings) much loved husband of Valerie, cherished dad of Trevor, eldest son of the late Sandy and Margaret, dearly beloved brother of Cherry and the late Eileen, Johnston and Alan, devoted uncle and brother-in-law.

Service of Thanksgiving for his life in D & R Hay & Sons Funeral Home, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ on Saturday, February 21 at 12.00noon followed by burial in Mountcastle Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to St Augustine’s Parish Church, c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director (address as above email would be much appreciated for receipts).
