The death has occurred of the late John Joe McKenna (Derrynoyd, formerly Lavey), October 23 2025, beloved husband of Mary Theresa and loving father of Anne (Thomas), Seán (Orla), Seamus (Pauline), Michael (Anita) and Jarlath (Amanda), cherished grandfather of Jarlath, Maria, Sarah, Seán Óg, Gabriel, Ciara, Thomas, Fintan, Johnny, and Olivia, son of the late Barney and Sarah, and dear brother of the late Kathleen (O’Kane), Josie (O’Kane) and Brian.

Funeral from his home, 9 Cloane Road, on Sunday, October 26 at 12.15pm for 1.00pm Mass in Church of the Holy Rosary Draperstown, interment afterwards in Cemetery of Church of Our Lady of Mercy Lavey. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, son in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
