It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Angela McLaughlin née McGilloway, peacefully at home on 18th April 2025. Late of 12 Deanery Street and formerly of South End Park. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of the late Eugene (Slim). Devoted mother of Eugene and Seán. Dearest mother-in-law of Christine and Michaela. Loving grandmother of Lauren, Liam, Danielle, Amy and Ava. Precious great-grandmother of Daniel and Molly. Beloved daughter of the late Bobby (Speedy) and Jinny. A much loved sister of Danny, Seamus, Mona, Frances and the late Bobby and Bernadette. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Angela’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 12 Deanery Street, from 6pm this evening, Friday 18th April. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 21st April at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. A Cremation Service will then take place afterwards at 2pm in Lakeland’s Crematorium, Co. Cavan. Everyone welcome. Wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
