McLOUGHLIN ROCHE Tighearnán, February 3, 2026, (peacefully) at Wirral St. John’s Hospice aged 29, after a short illness bravely borne. Late of Wirral, formerly Greystones, Co. Wicklow, Tullamore, Co. Offaly and Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. Tighearnán, beloved husband of Ellie (Donnelly) and adored father of Ailbhe. Cherished son of Martina (McLoughlin) and David (Roche), and much-loved stepson of Joan (O’Hanlon). Dear brother of Rebecca, Ellen and Katie.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, daughter, parents, sisters, mother and father-in-law Lynda and Martin, his grandmothers Mary McLoughlin and Paddy Roche, extended family and a wide circle of friends.The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Wirral St. John’s Hospice for their exceptional care, kindness and support.

Reposing at the family home in Greystones on Friday February 6th from 3pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday February 7th at 11.00am in Holy Rosary Church, La Touche Road, Greystones (webcam link: https://gkpastoralarea.ie/online/) after which Tighearnán will be laid to rest in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion, Greystones.

In accordance with Tighearnán’s wishes, those attending the Funeral Mass are encouraged to wear a sports club tie or emblem, in recognition of his love of sport. May Tighearnán rest in peace.
