We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Johnnie Melarkey

R.I.P. 20th December 2024. Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of 70 Fern Park, Galliagh.

Beloved husband of Nell. Loving father of Elaine, Sean-Paul, Colleen, Claire and Dearbhlá, father-in-law of Maria, JP, Christy and Gary. Devoted grandfather (yaya) of Kiran, Olivia, Jacob, Aibhailia, Pearse, Sean, Anna, Cillian, Róise, Rúadh, Matthew, and Aaron. Dear brother of Annie, Sadie, and the late Joe and Mary. R.I.P. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone that knew him.

Wake will commence today (Saturday) at 2pm for family and close friends only at Johnnie’s own request.

Funeral from his home on Monday 23rd December at 10.30am for Requiem mass in St Joseph’s Church Galliagh at 11am followed by private cremation.
