MONAGHAN John Patrick passed away peacefully February 26, 2026 at Royal Victoria Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Katherine, much-loved dad of Michael and Anne, cherished granda of Katherine, Isabella and Charlie, adored brother of Briege Wright and family. He will be sadly missed by his entire family circle and friends.

John is reposing at his own residence, 223 Oldpark Road BT14 6QQ, those wishing to pay their respects are welcome from Monday March 2nd between 3.00pm-8.00pm. John will be received at Holy Cross Church, Crumlin Road BT14 7GE on Wednesday March 4th at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday March 5th at 10.00am, followed by committal at Newtownabbey Crematorium, Doagh Road BT36 5RZ at 12noon.

You are too precious to be forgotten and too priceless to ever replace. We wish we could share another moment with you and see that smiling face. Someone so special as you is rare to find, someone with a heart so pure, so caring and so kind. We cherish the memories we made, all the times we spent together, and we will hold them dearly in our hearts now and forever more, it’s not goodbye it’s see you again. St Padre Pio pray for him.
