MURPHY Bridget (Bridie), 11th January 2026, peacefully at Sevenoaks Care Home, formerly of the Metropole), beloved mother of Paul Barr, dear mother-in-law to Stacey, devoted grandmother of Jamie and Jessica, dear step-mother of Stacey Davidson, cherished youngest daughter of the late William and Cecilia Murphy (formerly of Rinmore Drive, Creggan), and a loving sister of Dolly and the late Sheila, Margaret, Pat and Liam.

Bridget will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street, on Tuesday 13th January from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Removal then leaving there to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower to repose overnight with Requiem Mass on Wednesday 14th January at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.
