MURPHY (nee Fahy) Mary, died at Altnagelvin Hospital on 18th May 2025. Late of 12 Clarendon Manor and formerly of Cloncool Park and Tuam, Co. Galway. May she rest in peace. Legendary teacher, actress, broadcaster, writer and stalwart of St. Eugene’s Cathedral.

Dear wife of the late Daithi. Beloved mother of Niall and mother-in-law of Jan. Precious grandmother of Rianna, Matthew and Georgia.

Mary’s remains will be reposing at her home, 12 Clarendon Manor, from 1pm this afternoon, Monday 19th May. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday 21st May at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Wake house will be private from 10pm until 9am.
