It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Murphy née McGuinness, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on 13th March 2026. Late of 44 Knockalla Park. May she rest in peace.
Beloved wife of the late Charles. Devoted mother of Gerard, Siobhan, Charles, Kevin, Eamon, Jamie, Chloe and the late Damian. Loving granny to all of her much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Harry, Martina, Paul, Sharon, Michael and the late Gerard and Sean. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Ann’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 44 Knockalla Park from 11am tomorrow morning, Saturday 14th March. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 16th March at 10:20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery. Wake house will be private from 9pm until 11am.
