We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Geraldine O’Connell peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on the 1st of April 2025, may she rest in peace. Late of Glenroe Park , Dungiven and 2 New Street, Dungiven, Co Derry.

Beloved partner of Kevin Simpson. Loving daughter of Ann and the late Tommy R.I.P. Dear sister of Collette, Seamus, and Gerard. Deeply regretted by her brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and the entire family.

You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven, BT47 4NQ) on Wednesday 2nd of April from 6.30pm to 9pm. Leaving the funeral home to repose at her parents home – 2 New street, Dungiven.

Family home is strictly private please.

Funeral on Thursday 3rd of April leaving at her parents home at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Dungiven.

Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
