O’KANE Joe, 20th March 2026 peacefully at home, beloved husband of Cecilia, Foyle Avenue, Greysteel, loving father of Joe, Cecilia, Michael and Mary, father-in-law of Christina, Danny and James, devoted grandfather of Caitlín, Dan, Séan, James, Mairéad, Conor, Clare, Katie and Lucia and dear brother of the late Michael and Peggy.

Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU on Saturday from 3 – 5 pm. Joe will then repose in his home. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 12 o’clock in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
