PALMER (née McAloon) Kathleen (Portaferry) Died 23rd June 2025, passed away peacefully at her home, 16 Joe Tomelty Drive, Portaferry.

Kathleen, may her soul rest in peace, was the beloved wife of the late Andy, devoted mother to Mary and Martin, and treasured mother-in-law to the late Manuel and Tina. A deeply loved grandmother to Beverly, Gemma (Anthony), Melanie (Roman), and Teresa, and a proud and adoring great-grandmother to Isaiah, Gabriel, and Arthur. Kathleen was a dearly loved sister to Jim, Eileen, Patrick, Brian, and Mary.

Kathleen’s gentle presence and kind heart touched all who knew her. Her home will be open for those wishing to pay their respects from 6pm on Tuesday, 24th June.

The funeral will depart the home at 12.30pm on Thursday, 26th June, proceeding to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballygalget, for Requiem Mass at 1pm, followed by a burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in Kathleen’s memory, if desired, can be made to Marie Curie. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Kathleen will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the McAloon and Palmer family circles.
