We, the family of the late Peter Kelly wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported us during our recent sad bereavement. Daddy passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on 11th June 2025. We are deeply grateful to all who helped us through this difficult time.

for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Daddy throughout the years. To our extended family, friends, and neighbours—your presence at the wake and funeral, your kind words, prayers, and gestures of sympathy meant so much. We are especially thankful for those who brought food and flowers to our home, sent mass cards and sympathy cards, and kept daddy and our family in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness has been truly comforting and deeply appreciated.

Our sincere thanks to Father Peter for the meaningful and prayerful funeral Mass, and to all those who provided the beautiful music during the service to the alter servers and Eucharist ministers the family members that participated in daddy’s funeral mass we thank each of you. We would also like to acknowledge Peadar & Ryan FMC Funeral Directors, for their professionalism, compassion, and dignified handling of all arrangements for daddy’s funeral. and our gratitude to the gravediggers who prepared daddy’s final resting place.

To the staff of the charm inn for providing food for the funeral lunch and Loughmacrory community centre our sincere gratitude to you all.

A very special thank you to the Loughmacrory Band for the guard of honour & music provide at daddy’s final resting place.

Daddy Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary Church, Loughmacrory on Friday 11th July at 6.00 pm.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere gratitude. The holy sacrament of mass will be offered up for your intentions

Son of the late Peter and Rosanne Kelly. Beloved husband of the late Peggy (Loughran), RIP. Father of Paul, Gavin (Eimear), Martina (Kieran), Roisin(Benny), Ursula (Mickey), Cleiona (Mickey), Clare (Richard) and Mary (Benny). Brother of late Maryanne Donaghy, RIP, Packie Kelly, RIP, Margaret Moriaty, RIP, Tessie McCallan, RIP and Brigid – Rose, RIP

Loving grandfather to Garry, Stephen, Amanda, Lauren, Megan, Michael, Leah, Ben, Conor, Molly, Jack, Shane, Finn, Hayley, Peter, Charlie, Robert, Leo and Kate; and Great Granda to Oisin.

Remains reposing at his late residence 24 Striff Lane, Loughmacrory, until removal at 11.15am on Friday 13th June, to St. Mary’s Church for 12 noon requiem mass; burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Wake this evening (Wednesday) 8pm to 10pm and Thursday 11am to 10pm.

House private on morning of funeral.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchild, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Marie Curie or Termonmaguirc Cancer Patients Comfort Fund, if desired.
