McGUONE, Plunkett – February 17th, 2026. Passed away peacefully at home. Beloved son of the late Michael and Veronica. Loving father of Declan, Eamonn and James. Devoted grandfather of Aj and Lilly-Mae. Dearly loved brother of Michael, Desmond, Dolores, Siobhan, Pauline, Malachy. Predeceased by his brother Seamus and sister Rosemary (RIP).

An evening wake will be held at FMC Funeral Home at the Milestone, Carrickmore on Sunday March 15th from 5pm until 7pm for immediate family members.

Requiem Mass will take place on Monday 16th March at 11am in St. Colmcille’s Church, Carrickmore; burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Following the burial, the family invites you to join them for light refreshments at The Charm Inn to share memories of Plunkett.

Deeply regretted and sorrowfully missed by his children, grandchildren, siblings and the wider family circle and friends.
