We regret to inform you of the sad passing of William John (Billy) Reid January 25th 2026. Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Formerly of 4 Foyle Crescent, Newbuildings. A true gentleman to the end.

Dearly beloved husband of Audrey, much loved father of Mark, Paul, Amanda, Robert Norman, Linda and Billy; loving father- in -law of Tara, Michelle, Gerard and Debbie; grandfather to Rebecca, Adam, Joshua, Jody, Thomas, Ben, Brogan, Ross, Sam, Sophie, Elijah, Caleb and Poppy; great grandfather to Theo and Alex; brother of Roberta, Avril, Jean, Sam, Bobby and the late Olive, Sadie, Stephen, Bella, Mary Elizabeth and Annie.

Funeral leaving the family home on Wednesday 28th at 12noon followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in Newbuildings Independent Methodist Church at 12.30 followed by burial in Mountcastle Cemetery. House strictly private.
