ROONEY James, 10th February 2026, peacefully at home, dearly beloved husband of Marie, much loved father of Neil, Barry and Kevin, father-in-law of Antonia and loving grandfather of Alfonso and Maria, dear brother of Jack, Bernard, Joseph, Thomas, Michael, Peter and the late Marceline, Harry, Philip, Nicholas and Gerard. May he rest in peace.

Requiem Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church Downpatrick on Friday 13th February at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in Struell Cemetery. James will be reposing in Charles Rourke and Sons, Funeral Home 51 Church Street, Downpatrick BT30 6 EH on Thursday 12th February from 5.00pm to 7.00pm with his family present.

Very deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his sorrowing family and friends.
