ROONEY Maura, passed away peacefully at Kilwee Nursing Home 27th January 2026. Dearly beloved mother of Fiona, Jim, Michael and Claire, mother-in-law of David, Janine, Karen and Jeff, much loved grandmother of Caragh, Michael, Jonny, Anna, Euan, Harry, Hollie and Zoe. Formally of Glengoland Park. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.

Maura’s remains will be reposing at O’Neill’s Chapel of Rest 98 Stewartstown Road from Friday for those wishing to call and pay their respects. Please contact our office on 028 90620099 for viewing times.

Maura’s remains will leave O’Neill’s Chapel of Rest on Tuesday 3rd February at 9.30am for 10am Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church Hannahstown. Service at Roselawn Crematorium to follow at 12noon.

Maura will be loved and missed always by her heartbroken daughters, sons, grandchildren and entire family circle. Donations in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer’s Society
