ROONEY Murtagh passed away on September 30, 2025, suddenly at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Beloved husband of Ann, father of Niall, Declan, Gavin and Leighanne, brother to Ann Boughton, grandfather to Dylan, Michael, Hollie, Connelly and Saorlaith.

Funeral leaving his late residence, 33 Rosapenna Street, Belfast on Friday at 9.30am for 10.00am Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Oldpark Road, followed by burial at St Mary’s Church Cemetery, Glasdrumman, Co Down.
