ROONEY (Neé Halfpenny) Hazel, passed away peacefully at home – 13th June 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Patrick, daughter of the late James and Bridget RIP devoted mother of Julie and Patrick, adored mother-in-law of Geraldine, Much loved sister of Rosaleen and the late Norman, Noel and John. Cherished grand-mother of Seana and husband Jim, Rebecca, Noel, Jack, Patrick, Joseph, Sean-James and Summer and great-grand-mother to Zara, Faye, Logan and Lorcan. Deeply regretted by her entire family circle and friends.

Hazel is reposing at her family home until Monday 17th June when she will arrive at St Matthews Church, Bryson Street, Belfast, for Requiem Mass at 10.00am followed by burial in City Cemetery.
