SHIELDS (nee Hughes) Mary, May 26, 2023. Died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Dearly beloved wife of Patrick. Mother of Kathleen, Patricia, Frances, Elizabeth, the late Damian, Jimmy, Cathal and Christina. Loving grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

She was a mother so very rare, content at home and always there, on earth she toiled, in Heaven she rests, God bless you Mother, you were one of the best.

Mary’s remains will leave her home at 11 Whitecliff Parade on Tuesday May 30th for 10.00am Requiem Mass in Corpus Christi Church, followed by in interment at Milltown Cemetery. Deeply regretted by her loving family circle.
