SMITH (née McKerr) Veronica, (Sloan Street, Lurgan), February 8, 2026, peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and close friends. Veronica, beloved wife of the late Desmond (Dessie), a dearly loved mother of Kathy, and a loving grandmother to Maeve. Loving daughter of the late Pat and Kitty McKerr (Shankill, Lurgan), and a dear sister of the late May, Tessie, Patsy, Kathleen, Leonard, Joe, Ita, Oliver, and Anne and Noel who both died at infancy, a much-loved sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and a treasured friend.

Veronica will repose at McAlinden & Murtagh Funeral Home, 43 Ardmore Road, Lurgan, BT66 6QP, today, Tuesday from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm, where family and friends are welcome to visit and pay their respects. Leaving the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1.30pm to St. Paul’s Church, Lurgan, for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm, with burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery. Saint Theresa pray for her.
