We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Jim Spencer, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, surrounded by all of his loving family on 8th October 2023. Late of 4 Summerhill Grove, Belmont and formerly of Weymouth, Dorset. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Mary. Devoted father of Darren, Keith, Julie, Mark and the late Seán. Loving granda of Eva, Leon, Caitlín, Darwen, Sarah, Reydn, Ronan, Ava and James. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his brothers, sisters, wider family circle, friends and his four pawed companion Leila.

Jim’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 4 Summerhill Grove, Belmont from 4pm this afternoon, Sunday 8th October. Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday 10th October at 11:20am for 12pm requiem mass in St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
