TWEEDIE (Née Smyth) Marie, 29th August 2025, peacefully, at hospital, dearly beloved wife of the late Teddy (formerly of Rathkeltair Road, Downpatrick), much loved mother of Brenda and Hilary, mother -in-law of Jim and Paul, loving grandmother of Philip and Orla and dear sister of Elizabeth (Smyth).

May she rest in peace.

Marie shall be reposing in Charles Rourke and Sons’ Funeral Home, 51 Church Street, Downpatrick, BT30 6EH on Saturday 30th August between 6.00pm – 8.00pm, with the family present.

Requiem Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick on Monday 1st September at 11.00 am followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Killough Road, Downpatrick.

No flowers please, donations may be made in lieu, if desired to Dementia NI c/o Charles Rourke & Sons Funeral Directors, address as above.
