WARD Valerie passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2025 held by her devoted daughters. Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mickey) R.I.P., much loved mother of Lorraine and Michelle, cherished gran of Catherine, Peter, Michael, Paul and Matthew, mother-in-law of Keith and John. Truly loved by all who knew her, she will be sadly missed by her entire family circle and friends. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on her soul.

Valerie is reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast BT1 2GX until Saturday September 6th when her remains will be removed to her late address. Those who wish to pay their respects are welcome to call to her home on Saturday 6th from 2.00pm – 8.00pm and Sunday 7th from 2.00pm – 5.00pm, family will be in attendance. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday September 8th at 11.00am in St Patrick’s Church, 199 Donegall Street, Belfast BT1 2FL followed by committal at Roselawn Crematorium at 12.40pm.
