ALCORN, Herbert Houston (Bertie) – Died 18 March 2024, at the age of 100, peacefully after a short illness with his family by his side.

Cherished husband of the late Doreen and devoted father of Steven, Philip, Michael and Elaine, father-in-law of Vivien, Lila, Pam and Brian and grandfather of Nicholas, Tom, Peter, Harry and Jack. Lovingly remembered by his entire family circle and many friends.

The family home will be open to friends and family between 3pm – 8pm on Thursday, 21st and Friday, 22nd March.

A service of thanksgiving for Bertie’s life will be held in St Andrew’s Church, Rosetta Rd, Belfast BT6 0LT on Tuesday 26 March at 2.30pm after a private family committal.
