Ann’s 1st Anniversary Mass will take place on Saturday 6th January at 10am in St. Mary’s Chapel, Killyclogher.

Family Acknowledgement

We, the family of the late Ann McRory, R.I.P, would like to express our sincerest appreciation to all those who prayed, sympathised and supported us through the recent passing of our beloved mother, wife, daughter, granny, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, godmother and cherished friend.

We wish to sincerely thank our wider family, friends, neighbours and community who helped and attended Ann’s wake and funeral, especially those who travelled from England and further away.

A special thanks to Classic Service Station, Culmore Service Station and Glenpark Estate for providing beautiful refreshments during the wake. To all those friends, family and neighbours who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, refreshments, gifts, telephone calls and flowers, we are indebted for your support.

Deep gratitude and thanks to Rev. Father McElhennon P.P for his spiritual guidance and comforting prayers at Ann’s home and Rev. Father McGeehan for his thoughtful celebration of the Requiem Mass. Thank you to all who participated in the Mass including the harmonious choir, Eucharistic ministers, sacristan, as well as the family members and friends who helped make the Mass a fitting tribute for Ann. Thank you to Hello Petal for Ann’s beautiful family floral arrangement. Deepest thanks to all of Ann’s cherished dancing community who provided a guard of honour. A heartfelt thanks to Packie Coyle for his beautiful instrumental music at Ann’s resting place.

Thank you to Jimmy Fox and Ryan McCallan Funeral Directors for the personal, professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and to the gravedigger who prepared Ann’s final resting place. Thanks also to Cappagh Parish for the hire of the hall and the management and staff from the Old Charm Inn, Carrickmore for providing lovely refreshments following the funeral. Many thanks, to Packie Coyle and Paddy McDermott for their lively musical tribute to Ann at the hall.

A final heartfelt thanks to all those who cared for Ann during her illness, especially those who cared for Ann until her peaceful passing at home. Our deepest gratitude to the District Nursing and Community Palliative teams, Belfast City Hospital, Drumragh Family Practice, WHSCT Community Team, Bradley’s Castle Pharmacy team and a special thanks to the staff from Marie Curie.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and deepest thanks.

Ann’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 12th February in St. Mary’s Church, Killyclogher at 9am.

Ann Mc Rory (née Mc Dermott)

The death has taken place of Ann Mc Rory (née Mc Dermott) from Omagh.

Ann, most beloved wife of Martin, devoted daughter of Rose Mc Dermott, cherished mother of Stacey (Damien) and Amy (Laura), doting grandmother of Ruairi and Eibhléann. Treasured sister of her twin Brigid, brother Johnny and sisters Jacinta and Kellie. Predeceased by her father John Mc Dermott.

Ann passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Ann will be reposing at her family home at 45 Castleview Park. Ann’s wake will be held on Friday 6th January for family and extended family and open to all Saturday 7th January from 12-3pm and 5pm-10pm.

Requiem Mass in celebration of Ann’s life will be held on Sunday 8th January at 11am in St. Mary’s Chapel, Killyclogher, with her burial at the adjoining cemetery.

Heaven is now her home.
