Date of death: Tuesday 18th June 2024

The family of the late Anna McKane wish to thank most sincerely those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. We wish to express heartfelt thanks to our extended family, friends and neighbours who helped us in any way with serving tea or parking during and after the wake. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

We thank all who left online tributes and sent cards or left flowers. Also, thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral and those who travelled long distances to see us. Thanks also to those who couldn’t attend the wake but have sympathised with us since Annas funeral.

We wish to express a special thanks to Fr. Breslin for his friendship and pastoral care to Anna over the years. Also thanks to Fr. Mcguckian who offered friendship and spiritual support over Annas long life.

To the domiciliary care team who provided such expert care for Anna over many years, we cannot thank you enough for the service provided. To all those who provided care to Anna in her latter years and especially to Margaret for her devotion, kindness, and friendship to Anna over many years.

A very special thanks to Fr. McAleer for the beautiful funeral mass and the lovely tribute to Annas life and for his prayers and spiritual support during the wake.

A heartfelt thanks to the children of St Joseph’s Primary School choir for the beautiful singing and to Catherine Quinn for the music during the funeral mass.

Thanks to the grave diggers for preparing Annas final resting place.

Thanks to Paula and her staff at Orange Box Farm shop for providing the refreshments after the funeral and to Galbally Community Centre for the use of the facilities and equipment during the wake and to hold the funeral meal. Thanks also to KC marquees.

Finally a most special thanks to Kate McAleer for carrying out the funeral arrangements with such professionalism.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept our sincere appreciation to everyone who helped us in any way.

Annas month mind mass will be in John the Baptist Church Galbally on Friday 19th July at 7.30pm
