Annie McCALLAN

Date of Death: Friday 24th March 2023 Town: Carrickmore
Date of Death: Friday 24th March 2023

We, the family, of the late Annie McCallan, 1 Main Street, Carrickmore would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us following the death of our dear Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Mother-in-law and Sister.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way.  To those who called to our home, rang us, sent mass cards, messages of sympathy, left messages online, attended the funeral or joined us on the parish webcam.  We would like to pay particular thanks to all those who helped in any way during the wake, to those who brought food to the house and especially to the most generous local businesses.

A special thank you to all the staff in Carrickmore Health Centre who attended to our Mother with extreme care and diligence.  To the Beragh District Nurses Team, the staff of Harte’s Chemist, the Marie Curie Nurses and carers and especially ‘Annie’s Angels’ without whom we could not have kept Mammy at home.  Thanks also to Bernie Grimes who kept Mammy looking so beautiful over the past years.

We will be forever grateful to Fr O’Neill for his spiritual care to Mammy and for celebrating the Requiem Mass.  Thanks to Colleen Conway and Conor McCrystal for the beautiful music which enhanced the Mass perfectly, to Jimmy Fox and Ryan McCallan Funeral Directors for their care and attention to detail at that time and to Ciaran Conroy, the gravedigger, who prepared Mammy’s final resting place.  A word of thanks to the Charm Inn for the refreshments after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Our Mother’s Months Mind Mass will be on Friday 28th April at 7.30pm in St Colmcilles Church, Carrickmore
