ATHERTON Peter. (Portaferry) Passed away peacefully on 11th July 2024.

Dearly missed by his wife Jean, his daughter Zoe, sons Michael, Martin, Gordon, David, and the late Gareth, and also his son in law Mick and daughter in law Lisa. Loving grandfather and great-grandfather, and only brother of Arthur. Also missed by his close friends Clare, Tracey, Jim, and Harry, and by all those who had he pleasure of knowing him.

Sincere thanks to all the district nurses and those who cared for Peter in Penninsula Care and lately in Ard Cuan Residential Home.

A Service of Celebration for the life of Peter will be held on Tuesday 13th August at 12noon in John Smith Funeral Home followed by a service of committal in Roselawn Crematorium. Peter’s ashes will then go with his family to Wigan.
