BASSETT, George Dawson – 6th August 2026. Peacefully at Lisadian House Nursing Home, aged 73 years. Dearly beloved husband of the late Anne. Much loved Dad to William, Tracey, Natasha and Stephen, dear father-in-law to Barbara, Davy and Roger. Devoted Granda to Corey, Jake, Kaley, Joel, Sophie, Tristan and Lillie. Much loved brother of Jim and the late Maureen.

A service of thanksgiving will be held in St. John’s Parish Church, Moira on Saturday 8th August at 1.00pm, afterwards to the adjoining churchyard. Family homes strictly private. Family and friends welcome to pay their respects at Ronnie Thompson’s Funeral Home on Friday evening between 5.00pm and 8.00pm.

Dawson will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sons, daughters and entire family circle.
