BATES Richard (Roy) (Lurgan) November 4, 2026, (peacefully) at Craigavon Area Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Richard ‘Roy, ‘dearly beloved husband of Kathleen Bates 1 Taghnevan Close Lurgan, and much loved father of Ciaran, Aisling, Kathleen, Liam and the late Felim and Conal, beloved father-in-law of Darren and Colum, loving granda to Katie, Cameron, Conall, Aoife, Eoin and Eibhlín and great granda to Blathniad and Bebhinn.

Funeral on Friday at 9.30am from his home to St Paul’s Church for 10.00am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery. Roy’s Requiem Mass can be viewed on St Paul’s Church webcam. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Very deeply regretted by his loving wife, family and entire family circle.
