My sincere condolences to the Berne family, the loss of Frankie is such a shock and a tragedy and one that hits us all hard because he truly was that good, I will be eternally grateful for the memories I have of an old friend and roomie, his infectious love of computers gave me a career. So long Mr B, and thanks for all the tea!

All my sympathies to Sally, Francie, Stephen and Debbie. An unexpected loss of a best friend since P4. It was always a great experience and a privilege growing up with Frankie, trying to compete with his Ivan Lendl-ike tennis strokes, his musical digressions from recorder'ist, clarinetist, to finally, rock guitarist! A true friend and a great guy. Dear Fra, will always miss you.

My deepest condolences to all the Berne family for the tragic loss of their dear son and brother, Frankie. We were best friends since 1st year and I'll miss him so much..... That cheeky wee grin, the unparalleled guitar skills, the mind of a genius, the razor sharp wit, the rock you could always rely on, the unwavering support when you needed it.....Frankie was always there. I'm devastated - I'll miss you Mr B.

Deepest sympathy to Sally, Francie, Steven and Deborah. Frankie was a true gent, a great friend, and a talented wise and funny man. He has departed this plain with a loving family, friends across the world, and not a single soul with anything but the best of esteem in which to hold him. Fair wind to you old friend. Sending all our love, from Conzo, Lynn, Maisie and Lucia.
