The family of the late Bernie Doran, Altmore, Pomeroy, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind family, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent bereavement.

Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Moore for his spiritual support and guidance and for celebrating Bernie’s requiem mass, along with Fr McCann, a beautiful tribute to Bernie.

Thank you to Altmore choir and organist for their beautiful signing and music.

Thanks also to Bernie’s carers, district nurses and Marie Curie nurses for all their help and dedication. We are truly indebted to you.

We are grateful to all those who attended wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and messages expressing their condolences, via telephone, social media, and those who donated to Marie Curie.

A special thank you to family and friends who helped at wake, made food and helped in any way.

Thank you to gravediggers and sacristan.  Thanks also to Maria Corrigan and staff for beautiful meal and Galbally Community Centre for use of their premises.

We would like to thank Kate McAleer funeral directors for efficient and dignified manner in carrying out funeral arrangements.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Bernie’s months mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 5th January 2022 at 7.30pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Altmore.
