BERRELLS (nee Mallon) Christina (Teenie) – R.I.P. Hawthorn Hill, Newry, late of Clontigora and Croydon. Peacefully and gracefully in Craigavon Area Hospital on 19th September 2025, after a recent illness. Wife of the late Gene Berrells, daughter of the late Laurence Mallon and Christine (Dowdall), pre-deceased by her siblings Jimmy, Bridie, Rose and Ellen.

Most regretted by her nieces and nephews Christine (Alan), Helen (John), Donal (Lauren), and Peter (Siobhan); her grandnieces and nephews Chloe, Cian, Jamie, Jonathan, Lyndsey, Oisín and Tegan; cousins Kathleen (RIP), Peter, Matt, Raymond, Paul, Bridgeen, Shane, Colleen, Ronan, Conor, Megan, Adrian, Donal, Emma and Daniel. Missed by her many close friends and those in the worlds of bridge and golf.

Teenie’s remains will repose in McGennity’s Funeral Home,18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ on Saturday (20th September) from 2pm until 7pm and on Sunday (21st September) from 12.30pm until removal at 2.30pm, arriving for Requiem Mass at 3.00pm in The Church of the Assumption, Drumalane. Burial afterwards in Cloughoge cemetery.
