Maureen, Siobhan, Grainne, Fearghal and the entire family circle of the late John R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
A special thanks to Fr. McWilliams P.P. for his spiritual support, guidance and celebrating the Requiem Mass.
Thanks to the Gribbin Girls for the beautiful music and Wishy Drain who prepared the grave.
The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards, sent donations and those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.
Thanks to the McKiernan Family for all their help and guidance during the wake and funeral and their ongoing support to the family.

The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
The month mind Mass for John will be celebrated on Saturday 13th January 2023 at 6:30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Rasharkin.

BLACK John (Rasharkin) Died 12th December 2023. Peacefully at hospital.

John Pius R.I.P. beloved husband of Maureen; loving father of Siobhán, Gráinne and Fearghal; dear father-in-law of Steve and Daryl and much adored Granda of Oliver, Annie, Meghan, Kaden and Baby Charlie. Loving son of Josephine and the late Pat Hugh and dear brother of Paddy, Liam, Alwyn, Geraldine, Mary Jo and Dolores. St. Pius pray for him.

Funeral from his late residence, 17 Sunnyside Drive, on Friday at 11:20am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Rasharkin. (Mass will be broadcast live on the Parish Website. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by the entire Black and Crawford family circle.
