ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The family of the late Marion Boyle wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Sincere thanks to those who called to the wake, telephoned, sent mass and sympathy cards and attended the funeral, your words of comfort were very much appreciated.
Thank you to those who sent food and helped out during the wake, it was greatly appreciated.
To the medical teams in Altnagelvin Hospital ED and ICU who cared for Marion during her short illness with such compassion, we are sincerely grateful.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr Canny and Fr Lagan for visiting the hospital and attending the wake, the prayers brought great comfort to our family. A special word of thanks to Fr Canny for the beautiful Requiem Mass, and for the care and dignity with which he conducted the funeral. Sincere thanks to Sally Mae for providing the music and the beautiful singing.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to Kieran and all the staff at WJ O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they guided the family and carried out the funeral.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s deep appreciation.

BOYLE (nee Chambers) Marion, 29th May 2025 at Altnagelvin Hospital, late of Adelaide Mews, Greencastle and formerly of Nicholson Gardens, Ardmore. Beloved wife of Barney, loving daughter of the late Bobby and Nana, dear sister of Dermot, Anne, Niall and the late Mona and Bernadette and a much loved sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt.
Marion will be reposing at her niece’s home, 16 Bigwood Road, Ardmore from 4 pm on Friday 30th. Funeral from there on Sunday 1st June at 12.30 pm for 1 o’clock funeral mass in St Mary’s Church, Ardmore. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10pm until 11am.
