It's taken awhile for the penny to drop but I knew Gerard from The Princes Trust, I must of been 18 or there abouts, I'm 44 now. That was another life ago, in what feels like many lives. So I am sorry of your loss. I remember saying something to Gerard, I can't remember what I said, but I remember his reply "what did you say?", at that point I said nothing, or whispered to myself. It's taken me awhile to realise I knew Gerard. And that is a lovely photo of him with his jack russell. Those were some good times on The Princes trust, in fact for me I miss those more ambitious youthful days, just the shere possibilities of the future. He was a nice person, and I can't imagine how it must be for you and his family members and friends who knew him, but I will always remember his reply to whatever I said, that wasn't possibly not a nice thing going by his Gerard's reaction. It was all in good jest. I would like to leave a passage from some he New testament. "For God So loved the World" John 3:16 I pray for you and may God bless you and watch over you. Your loss is heavens gain. And there's never a right time to lose a loved one. R.I.P Gerard, , , 👃🙂
