Date of Death: Saturday 18th February 2023 Town: Cookstown
Date of Death: Saturday 18th February 2023

We the family of the late Gerard Brennan of Greenvale Drive, Cookstown, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent bereavement.

Our sincere gratitude to Fr Slatter and Fr. Boyle for their spiritual support and guidance and for celebrating Gerard’s beautiful Requiem Mass.

A special word of thanks to the Eucharistic Ministers, the Church Sacristan and Nuala and Briege for providing the lovely music and singing which made Gerard’s Funeral Mass so special.

The family would like to thank everyone who helped care for Gerard during his short illness, especially the dedicated Nurses, Doctors, Consultants and staff of the ICU in Antrim Area Hospital.

We are indebted to all those who supported us, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, messages, wreathes, floral tributes, and expressed their condolences via telephone, social media and at the wake. We took great comfort on the morning of the funeral from the support of everyone who was present at the house and lined the funeral cortege route, from those who joined us at the Chapel, and from those who viewed Gerard’s funeral Mass online.

A special word of thanks to the gravediggers who prepared Gerard’s final resting place with great care and to all those who helped us in any way.

We would sincerely like to thank Niall Loughran’s funeral directors for their very efficient, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements during these difficult times.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Gerard’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 18th March 2023 at 6pm in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown and can be viewed on the link below.
