Book of Condolences

I went to school with David & remember him as a slightly eccentric , extremely intelligent boy, who was always able to cut people down to size with his sharp wit . I moved away from Limavady but had reason to call on his professional services quite recently , and I quickly found that he had not changed at all , easily providing a successful outcome for me with his superior eloquently delivered views. I only just found out about his tragic death whilst browsing the internet on a completely different matter , and was totally shocked and saddened. My sincere condolences to his family and friends . He will be sadly missed, especially around Limavady . George Haslett

I knew David from college days in Queens University Belfast. He was a wonderfully fun and witty friend. We both loved discussing politics, watching football matches, seeing bits of Belfast. He also proudly showed me around his home county and Inishowen. He took me inside the inner sanctum of Glengall Street in the 80's. He was a great tease once saying 'Stockwell you are so square, so square you should have been a stock cube'. I will miss your wit, warmth and fun. My condolences to all who miss him.
