We the family of the late Bridie Hurson, beloved wife of Pat (RIP) and wider family circle would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to all who attended the wake, funeral, those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, messages on social media and floral tributes. We also express our sincere gratitude to relatives, neighbours, friends and local businesses who brought food, all those who helped in the kitchen during the wake and those who helped with traffic management and transportation, Brian McDermott Motors, Conor Harte, Eamon McGurk Commercials and Fox Contracts for lighting.
We thank all who cared for mum Drs Corry, Herron and the staff Carrickmore Health Centre, District Nursing team; Adelaide, Siobhan and Rachel, Pharmacist Fiona and her Team in Hartes Pharmacy, Marie Curie Nurse Anna McCallan and Carers Sharon, Carol and Deidre.
Thanks to those who lined the route, to participants in Guard of Honour at the Chapel.
Our sincere thanks to Father Peter McAnenly for his spiritual support for mum especially during her final illness and for the beautiful requiem mass and his support for the family throughout and following the funeral.
We would like to thank those who participated in the funeral Mass and symbolic tributes to mums life. To Eamon, Jackie and Pat Fox for the beautiful music, singing, Piper and Tin whistle solos. Thanks to the Sacristan Colette and altar servers.
Our heartfelt thanks to Peadar, Ryan and Kelley – FMC funeral services for the dignified and professional way the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Ciaran for preparing mums final resting place. Thanks to Eilish for use of Patrician Hall facilities and to Kelley and staff of The Charm Inn for providing refreshments.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our deep gratitude and appreciation to everyone who helped and supported us in any way.
Mum we have been blessed to have had you in our lives we thank you for the care and love you gave us.

HURSON (nee McKenna) Bridie, Feb 14th 2025, 355 Omagh Road, Carrickmore BT79 9JY, RIP.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Pat, Dear Mother of Maureen, Kieran (Jane), Francie (Paula), Fiona (Aidan) Noeleen (Shane), Una (Kevin), Brendan (Annemarie) Martin (Mairead), Pauline, Shane, and Pat (John).

Sister to Jimmy, Gerard and Rena.

Adored Grandmother of 25 Grandchildren and 28 Great grandchildren.

Remains reposing at her late residence until removal at 10.15am to St. Colmcille’s Church, Carrickmore for 11am requiem mass on Monday 17th February.

Deeply loved and missed by her sorrowing sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law and brothers and sister. Our Lady of Knock Pray for her.
