The family of the late Briney Clarke wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to everyone who offered their condolences,
prayers and support following the loss of our father, grandfather and friend.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the healthcare staff who cared for our much loved father throughout his illness.
We are deeply grateful to our relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbours who called during and after the wake, sent mass and sympathy cards,
brought food to our home and attended Dads funeral mass.

Thank you to Fr. McAleer for administering the last rites, Fr. Moore for celebrating Dads requiem mass and Fr. McVeigh for the support he gave to
Dad during his sickness.
Our heartfelt thanks to Caoimhe Loughran and Rory Madden for the beautiful music and singing and everyone who helped in the mass.

Our sincere thanks to the gravediggers for preparing Dads final resting place and many thanks to Kate McAleer and her staff for their kindness,
patience and professionalism handling of all the funeral arrangements.

Thanks to Damien Grimes for videoing Dads funeral for those who couldn’t attend.

Thanks to Galbally Community Centre and Maria’s Chippy for the catering after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

CLARKE (Altmore) 2nd August 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, Briney. Beloved husband to Pamela and also of the late Philomena RIP. Cherished Daddy to Dolores (Joe), Mark (Bronagh), Joseph (Sinead), Bronagh (Mark), Cormac (Martina), Denis (Kelly), Edel (Padraig) and Lee (Sean). Treasured by his grandchildren. Much loved brother of Bridget and the late Josie, Jack, Annie, Mary and James RIP

Briney is reposing at home 18 Aghafad Rd. BT70 2PB and his family have respectively requested that his home remain private until 12 noon today and tomorrow, Tuesday. Funeral from there on Wednesday for 11am Requiem Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

St. Anthony pray for him.

Deeply loved and missed by his grieving wife, daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sister, entire family circle, neighbours and friends.
