BROOKS Vera (Newry) January 17, 2025, (peacefully) at Ardmaine Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family, formerly Beechmount Park. Vera (née Hollywood), cherished wife of the late Hugh, devoted mother of Jerome and Claire, stepmother of Eithna, Mary and Martin and much loved sister of Mary McElherron. May she Rest In Peace.

Vera’s remains will repose at the Heaney Keenan Funeral Home on Sunday from 12 noon – 6pm. Funeral on Monday at 12.15pm for 12.30pm Requiem Mass in St Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street. Private cremation will take place at Lakeland’s Crematorium afterwards.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing son, daughter, step children, sons-in-law Donal and Tim, daughter-in-law Theresa, grandchildren Rachel, Sarah, Caitie, Cathal, Mia, Noah, Ethan and Elijah, nephews, nieces and the entire family circle.
