The Burke/Black family sincerely thanks all those who sent messages, attended to wake and the funeral of Veronica.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation. The Holy Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Veronica’s Month’s Mind Mass will celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn on Sunday, 5th of January 2025 at 9.45 am.
Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
BURKE (formerly BLACK) (nee DUFFY) Veronica, 8th December 2024 peacefully at Oakleaves Care Home.
Beloved wife of Ciaran and the late Tom Black, loving mother of Tom, Liam, Mary, Samuel, John and the late Siobhan, mother-in-law of Mary and Caroline, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of Fidelis and the late Charles, May and Kathleen.
Her remains will be reposing in the family home, Lisleen, 70 Culmore Road, BT48 8JB, from 5 pm on Monday. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.30 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Family time please from 10 pm to 11 am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
