The death has occurred of Michael Burns (Ballinascreen) on 11th February 2023, (peacefully) at home surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (née O’Hagan), loving father to Paul (died in infancy), Eamonn, Jane and Lucy, father in law to Lisa, Seamus Convery & Eunan Murray and doting grandfather to Shay, Shannon, Eve, Michael, Nicole, Laoise, Olivia, Conor, Fintan, Charlie and Christy. Son of the late Edward and Vera Burns, brother of the late John.

Wake from his late residence of 36 Derrynoid Road, Draperstown, BT45 7DN from 2.00pm to 10.00pm on Monday, 13th February. Funeral will go from his home on Tuesday, 14th February at 11.30M for 12o’clock Requiem Mass at the Holy Rosary Chapel, Draperstown. Family time only please on morning of funeral. Internment immediately afterwards at St. Columba’s Cemetary Straw. Mass can be viewed on the webcam via www.parishofballinascreen.com. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for him.

Very deeply regretted by his children, children in law, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and the wider Burns and O’Hagan families. Ar dheis Dé go raibh an anam uasal.
