Date of Death: Wednesday 12th February 2025 Town: Saul
Date of Death: Wednesday 12th February 2025

The family of the late Brigid Burns wish to thank Ciaran & Adrienne Fitzpatrick, Diane and all the staff at Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for their professional help and guidance during our sad bereavement.
We offer our heartfelt gratitude to Father Aidan Brankin PP and Deacon Jackie Breen for calling at her home, praying with mummy and for her very personal and moving service. Also a word of appreciation to Bernie and Martin Campbell for their beautiful music and singing throughout the funeral mass.
No words can express our gratitude to Dr Ryder and all the staff at the Green Surgery, Deeny and Doris Pharmacies, the district nursing team both day and night, the Marie Curie nurses offering care for mum as well as peace, rest and calmness to the family. The Northern Ireland Hospice, Kate and Oliver who were there for all of us when the need was greatest.
Our gratitude to Jennifer McGrath who helped us throughout mum’s illness. Also to mums carers from Elite, Lydian and mum’s private carers for keeping her comfortable. A special thank you to Fionnuala and Gemma for their visits, their kindness, consideration and looking after mum so attentively.
Thank you to Leo for the food parcels, also to the kind neighbours, friends and relatives who supported us by calling at the house, visiting the funeral home, sent mass and sympathy cards, sent messages and words of condolences and attended the funeral. It was wonderful to hear everyone’s stories. Appreciation to The Barn for the food after the funeral.

Mum’s Months Mind Mass will be held in St. Patrick’s Church Saul on Sunday 23rd March at 9.30am.
‘It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home!’
