BYRNE Anthony (Co. Armagh) – January 4th 2026, late of 5 Newtown Terrace, Newtownhamilton, BT35 0DH, passed away suddenly in the care of his loving family. Loving husband of Rose. Cherished father of Malachy and Raymond, father-in-law of Maria and Anna-Marie. Treasured grandfather of Adam, Eibhlis, James, Tomás, Aoibha, Aine and Tara, great-grandfather of Aiylah. Son of the late Thomas and Bridie Byrne, brother of Mary (Flanghan), Kieran, Adrian and Brendan.

Anthony will be reposing at his late residence Monday evening. The family will welcome visitors Monday from 6pm – 9pm and Tuesday from 12 noon – 9pm. Anthony will the leave the family home on Wednesday at 10.15am to St Michael’s Church, Newtownhamilton for 11 0’clock requiem mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private the morning of the funeral for family and friends only.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, stepmother Annie, sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and entire Byrne and McDonald families.
