Elsie CALVIN (nee Parkhill)

The family of the late Helen Elizabeth (Elsie) Calvin wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement. Whether by card, phone call, text, social media or visit. It was all greatly appreciated by the family.
A special thanks must be given to the Causeway Hospital Staff in the A&E and Medical 2 for the exceptional and empathetic care she received in the last weeks of her life.
Sincere thanks goes to Canon Amanda Adams for her visits and prayers with Elsie at home and in the hospital. Her compassion and spiritual care brought a great comfort to Elsie and her daughters. She conducted a beautiful and very personal service of Thanksgiving service for the life of Elsie. Thank you also to the Kildollagh Parish Church community at this difficult time.
The professional and exceptionally caring service provided by Ivan Murdock and sons funeral directors, especially William, was greatly appreciated by all the family.
We will forever be grateful to all who stood with us to celebrate Elsie’s life.
CALVIN (nee Parkhill) Elsie – 23rd May 2025 (peacefully) at hospital, Helen Elizabeth (Elsie), late of Glenstall Road, Ballymoney, dearly beloved wife of the late Willie, devoted mother of Alison and Dawn, dear mother-in-law of Simon, much loved grandmother to Becki, Simon, Katie and Anna and great grandmother of Olive.
Service in Kildollagh Parish Church, Loughan on Monday at 2.00pm followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard. House Strictly Private.
Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu if desired for Kildollagh Parish Church c/o Ivan Murdock and Sons, 31, Bushmills Road, Coleraine.
