CANNING Gerry. 29th March 2025 beloved husband of Mina, loving father of Gerard, Danielle, Aaron, Jason and the late Daniel Paul, father-in-law of Aileen, Darren, Debbie and Louise, a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, son of the late Dan and Agnes and dear brother of Margaret and the late Fr. Junior, Sylvia, Ronnie and Patsy.

His remains will be reposing in his home, 133 Galliagh Park, from 3 pm on Sunday. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 9.30 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
