CANNING (née Burns) Hilda. Died 12th March 2025. Peacefully in hospital. Formerly of Bailieborough, Co. Cavan. Dearly loved wife of the late William (Billy); loving mother of Robert, John, David & Trevor; dear mother-in-law of Karen, Karen, Anne & Heather; devoted grandmother of Lesley, Sarah, Emma, Alice, Stuart, Hannah, Alex & Grace and precious great-grandmother of Eva, Charlotte, Anna, Isabelle & Rosie. Also a much-loved sister of Hazel & Ethel & sister-in-law of the late Bill.

House strictly private. A Funeral Service will be held in St. John’s Parish Church, Stoneyford on Monday 17th March at 1.30pm followed by a committal in the adjoining churchyard. No flowers please.
